## Setup

Connected in a minute. One URL and one sign-in. No API key for chat apps.

1. **Connect your Page in OmniSocials.** Sign in with Facebook once and pick the Page. One Page per workspace.
2. **Add the server to your agent.** Paste one URL as a custom connector, or run one command.
3. **Sign in and pick a workspace.** OAuth in the browser. Agents that run on their own use an API key.

### Publishing

## FAQ

### What is the Facebook MCP server?

It is the OmniSocials MCP server with your Facebook Page connected. Your AI agent calls its tools to post to your Page, answer Messenger and comments and read your numbers, through Facebook's official API. The server lives at https://mcp.omnisocials.com, and the same tools post to your other channels too.

### Which Facebook accounts can my agent use?

Facebook Pages you manage, connected with Facebook Login. Personal profiles and Groups can't be connected. Each workspace connects one Page, so your agent switches workspaces to work on another Page.

### What can it post to my Page?

Posts with photos or one video, link posts with a preview card, Reels with a thumbnail, and Stories of up to 10 photos or videos, each its own Story. A post takes photos or a video, not both.

On posts and Reels, a first comment from your Page goes up right after the post is live. Stories go out without a caption or comment.

### Can it answer Messenger and comments?

Yes. Messenger messages, comments and mentions of your Page reach your agent, also on posts you made on Facebook itself, and it answers them as your Page. Messenger replies go out within Meta's 24-hour window and can be a photo, a video, audio or a file instead of text.

It can hide a comment and show it again, or delete it for good. Comment-to-DM automations are on Instagram only.

### Which numbers can it read?

Views, reactions by type, comments, shares and clicks on each post, video views and watch time, your Page's followers and Page views. Facebook no longer reports post reach.

It also suggests your best days and hours to post, from your own posts once 15 or more have been analysed, and from industry defaults until then.

### Can it read other Facebook Pages or profiles?

No. It works with the Page you connected: its posts, its Messenger, comments and mentions, and its numbers. It doesn't scrape other Pages, profiles or Groups.

### How do I connect Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor to your Facebook Page?

Connect your Facebook Page in OmniSocials first. In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors, click Add, choose Add custom connector and paste https://mcp.omnisocials.com. In ChatGPT, add the same URL as a custom MCP server under Plugins; in Cursor, put it in ~/.cursor/mcp.json. Each one sends you to OmniSocials to sign in and pick a workspace.

### Can an AI agent post to your Facebook Page safely?

Yes. Your agent can send a post through an approval workflow: it waits until a teammate or client approves it, and only then goes out at its time. You can also ask your agent to save drafts, or to show you each post before it schedules it.

### Does the Facebook MCP server need a paid plan?

It needs an active OmniSocials plan or the 14-day free trial; without one, the server turns the connection down. The trial needs a card to start, and the MCP server is part of the one plan, like every other feature.

### How much does OmniSocials cost?

One plan with every feature included: $10 per seat per month billed annually, or $12 billed monthly. Team members and client seats cost the same. Every account starts with a 14-day free trial.
