## FAQ

### Can you schedule Facebook posts?

Yes. Meta Business Suite schedules posts for your Page. OmniSocials schedules Page posts, Reels and Stories on one calendar with your other channels, adds a first comment and answers comments and Messenger in one inbox. Personal profiles and Groups can’t be connected.

### Which Facebook accounts can I connect?

Facebook Pages you manage, through Facebook Login. Personal profiles and Groups can’t be connected. Each workspace connects one Page; a second Page goes in a second workspace.

### What can I post to a Facebook Page?

Text posts, posts with photos or one video, link posts with a preview card, Stories of up to 10 photos or videos, and Reels. Captions take up to 63,206 characters. Stories go out without a caption, because Facebook’s API publishes the media only.

Videos upload up to 1 GB, and Story videos run up to 60 seconds. A post takes photos or one video, not both, and OmniSocials tells you before you schedule a mix.

### Does OmniSocials publish to Facebook automatically?

Yes. Every Facebook post goes out on its own at the time you pick, with no reminder or phone notification to act on. OmniSocials keeps the queue and publishes through Facebook’s official API.

If a post fails on a temporary error, OmniSocials retries it up to 3 times, 15 minutes apart. You can also retry it yourself, and only the failed platforms publish again.

### Can I add a first comment or a custom thumbnail?

Yes. Add a first comment to posts and Reels (Stories don't take comments) and pick a frame or upload an image as the video's thumbnail.

### Can I answer Messenger messages and comments?

Yes. Messenger DMs, comments and mentions land in the Social Inbox, also for posts you made on Facebook itself. Reply to a comment at any depth, like it as the Page, hide it or delete it.

Messenger replies go out within Meta’s 24-hour window and can carry a photo or a video.

### Which Facebook analytics do I get?

Per post: views, reactions by type, comments, shares, clicks and link clicks, plus video views and watch time. Reels add replays and follows. Meta stopped reporting post reach in June 2026, so reach is not shown.

### Can ChatGPT or Claude post to Facebook for me?

Yes. Connect the OmniSocials MCP server to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any other MCP client and ask in plain words: it creates, schedules and checks your Page’s posts, Reels and Stories. With an approval workflow, nothing goes out before someone approves it.

Posts, link posts, Stories and Reels, with the first comment and the video thumbnail, are also in the REST API and the official SDKs. Webhooks tell your app when a post is scheduled, approved, rejected, published or failed.

### Can I run Facebook ads from OmniSocials?

Not yet. Boosting posts and running campaigns on Meta from the same workspace is coming soon.

### Can I repost my Instagram posts to Facebook automatically?

Yes. An automation reposts what you publish on Instagram, or another channel, to your Facebook Page, with videos as Reels. It also works the other way: your Page posts can be reposted to your other channels.

### Can my AI agent answer Facebook comments?

Yes. Through the MCP server your agent finds the next unanswered comment or Messenger message, replies as the Page, and hides or deletes spam. The same actions are in the REST API.

### Can I send a DM when someone comments on my Page?

Not on Facebook yet. Comment-to-DM automations work on Instagram today, and Facebook Pages are on the roadmap.

### How much does OmniSocials cost?
