This is the machine-readable version of [omnisocials.com/google-business](https://omnisocials.com/google-business), maintained for AI agents. Facts checked against the OmniSocials app on October 16, 2026.

- **With your AI agent:** Your AI agent writes and schedules your Business Profile updates, events and offers. You check everything in the composer and on one calendar.
- **With your own code:** One API call publishes updates, events and offers with a button to your Business Profile. OmniSocials handles the Google sign-in, the location and the retries.

## What you can post

Every Google Business post type, from one composer. Updates, events and offers, with the buttons and checks Google asks for.

- **Updates with a button.** Your text and one image, with a button under it: Learn more, Book, Order online, Buy, Sign up or Call now. (One image, Six buttons, Button link)
- **Events with a start and an end.** Give the post an event title and dates. Google shows them above your text. (Event title, Starts, Ends)
- **Offers people can redeem.** A title, the dates it runs, a coupon code or a redeem link, and your terms. (Coupon or redeem link, Valid dates, Terms)
- **Captions checked before they go out.** Google turns down a post with a phone number or a link in the text. OmniSocials flags it before you schedule and moves you to a button. (No links in the text, No phone numbers, Call now button)

## From your AI agent

Run your Business Profile from your AI agent. Claude, ChatGPT or any MCP client reads your location’s numbers and plans your next update, event or offer.

- Read views and clicks
- See your latest posts
- Pick a good time
- Write the offer
- Schedule it

MCP tools it calls: `list_accounts`, `get_account_analytics`, `get_recent_platform_posts`, `get_best_times`, `create_post`.

## API and CLI

**One request. Updates, events and offers.** Publish to your Business Profile with a button on any post, and read your location’s numbers, without an API access request to Google of your own.

- **Real-time webhooks.** Get an event the moment a Business Profile post is scheduled, published or fails. Signed payloads, sent straight to your endpoint.
- **Every format in one call.** Updates, events and offers through one request, with the button, the event dates and the offer as fields.
- **From your terminal.** Claude Code, Codex or Gemini CLI schedules your Business Profile updates, events and offers through the OmniSocials MCP server and agent skill.

The SDK call the page shows:

```js
await client.posts.create({
  content: "Plan your Black Friday posts.",
  channels: ["google_business"],
  google_business: {
    topic_type: "EVENT", event,
    cta: { actionType: "SIGN_UP", url },
  },
});
## FAQ
### Can you schedule Google Business Profile posts?
Yes. OmniSocials schedules Google Business Profile updates, events and offers, the posts once known as Google My Business posts, on one calendar with your other channels. It checks each caption before you schedule and publishes through Google’s official API at the time you pick.
### What can I post to my Google Business Profile?
Updates, events and offers. Each post takes your text and one image, or no image. An event adds a title with a start and an end; an offer adds a title, the dates it runs, a coupon code or a redeem link, and your terms.
The text takes up to 1,500 characters, an event or offer title up to 58, and offer terms up to 4,000. The image is a JPEG or PNG of up to 5 MB. Google Business doesn’t take video or a second image.
### Which buttons can a post have?
Learn more, Book, Order online, Buy, Sign up or Call now, on any post type. Every button except Call now opens a link you add. Call now uses the phone number on your Business Profile.
### Why can’t I put a link or a phone number in the text?
Google turns down posts that have them, with an error that doesn’t say why. OmniSocials checks the text before you schedule and tells you what to change: put the link on a button, and use Call now for your number.
### Which locations can I post to?
Any location your Google account manages, also the ones you manage through an agency account. Right after you sign in with Google, you pick the location this workspace posts to; with only one, OmniSocials picks it for you.
Each workspace posts to one location. A second location goes in a second workspace, with its own calendar. A Google account without any locations can’t be connected.
### Does OmniSocials publish to Google Business automatically?
Yes. Every post goes out on its own at the time you pick, with no reminder or phone notification to act on. OmniSocials keeps the queue and publishes through Google’s official API.
If a post fails on a temporary error, OmniSocials retries it up to 3 times, 15 minutes apart. You can also retry it yourself, and only the failed platforms publish again.
### Can I see how my Business Profile does?
Through the API and your AI agent. They read your location’s views, calls, direction requests and website clicks over the last 30 days, its bookings, food orders and menu clicks per day, your average rating and your number of reviews. The app has no Google Business analytics screen.
Google doesn’t report numbers per post.
### Can I answer Google reviews?
No. Google reviews aren’t in the Social Inbox. You answer them on Google, in your Business Profile.
### Can ChatGPT or Claude post to my Google Business Profile?
Yes. Connect the OmniSocials MCP server to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any other MCP client and ask in plain words: it writes and schedules updates, events and offers with a button, and reads your location’s numbers. With an approval workflow, nothing goes out before someone approves it.
The same posts are in the REST API, the official SDKs and the CLI.
Webhooks tell your app when a post is scheduled, approved, rejected, published or failed.
### How much does OmniSocials cost?
One plan with every feature included: $10 per seat per month billed annually, or $12 billed monthly. Team members and client seats cost the same. Every account starts with a 14-day free trial.
