This article covers creating your OmniSocials account, the onboarding steps that set up your organization, first workspace and free trial, and signing in afterwards.

## Create your account

You can sign up with an email address and password, or with your Google or GitHub account.

### Sign up with email

1. Go to [app.omnisocials.com/signup](https://app.omnisocials.com/signup).
2. Enter your **Email**.
3. Enter a **Password**. It needs at least 8 characters, with an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter and a number.
4. Enter the same password in **Confirm Password**.
5. Click **Sign up**.
6. Open the verification email from OmniSocials and click the link in it.
7. Click **Continue to Sign In** and sign in with your email and password.

> **Note:** You can't sign in until your email address is verified. If you try, OmniSocials asks you to check your inbox. Click **Resend Verification Email** if the email didn't arrive, and check your spam folder.

### Sign up with Google or GitHub

1. On the sign-up page, click **Sign up with Google** or **Sign up with GitHub**.
2. Choose your account and allow access.

Accounts created with Google or GitHub don't need email verification, so you go straight to onboarding.

### If you were invited

If someone invited you to their organization, open the link in the invitation email instead of signing up on your own. The invitation page lets you sign in or create an account and then join their organization. Use the email address the invitation was sent to. To learn more, see [Manage your team](/help-center/organization/team-management).

## Complete onboarding

After you sign in for the first time, onboarding takes you through five steps:

1. Tell OmniSocials about yourself.
2. Set up your organization and first workspace. See [Create a workspace](/help-center/getting-started/workspace-creation).
3. Connect at least one social account. See [Connect your channels](/help-center/getting-started/connecting-platforms).
4. Choose how you'll use OmniSocials.
5. Start your free trial.

You can go back to an earlier step at any time. Your answers are saved, so you don't have to fill them in again.

### Step 1: Tell OmniSocials about yourself

The first step, **Let's get to know you**, asks for your name and a few questions so OmniSocials can set things up for you.

1. Enter your **Full name**.
2. Answer **How did you hear about us?**, **Industry**, **Team size** and **Your role**.
3. Under **You are a...**, choose **Solo business or creator**, **Company with a team** or **Agency with client accounts**.
4. Leave **Send me product updates.** switched on if you want product news by email.
5. Select **I agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy**.
6. Click **Continue**.

Your answer under **You are a...** changes the wording of the next step. An agency, for example, is asked for its agency name and its first client workspace.

### Step 4: Choose how you'll use OmniSocials

Under **How will you use OmniSocials?**, click the option you plan to start with. You can use all three later.

- **With my AI agent**: Claude, ChatGPT or another agent plans, writes and schedules posts for you. You then choose which agent you use.
- **Myself, in the dashboard**: you write and schedule posts yourself with the composer and calendar.
- **With code, via the API**: you publish from your own app or scripts with the REST API and SDKs.

Your choice decides the short guided setup you see after your trial starts.

### Step 5: Start your free trial

OmniSocials is free for 14 days.

1. Click **Start 14-day free trial**.
2. Enter your card details in the checkout. Nothing is charged today.

> **Note:** A card is required to start the trial. OmniSocials emails you a reminder on day 13. If you don't cancel, your plan starts on day 14 at $12 per month for each workspace. You can cancel at any time from Settings. To learn more, see [Billing and subscription](/help-center/organization/billing).

After the trial starts, a guided setup follows your choice from step 4: connecting your AI agent, creating an API key, or writing your first post. Click **I'll do this later** to skip it. Next, OmniSocials asks who works with you, so you can invite team members or clients right away. Click **Skip for now** to do this later.

1. Go to [app.omnisocials.com/signin](https://app.omnisocials.com/signin).
2. Enter your **Email** and **Password** and click **Sign in**, or click **Sign in with Google** or **Sign in with GitHub**.

The sign-in page marks the method you used last with **Last used**.

> **Note:** You can be signed in on one device at a time. When you sign in somewhere else, your other session ends.

### Reset your password

1. On the sign-in page, click **Forgot password** next to the password field.
2. Enter your email address.
3. Click **Reset password**.
4. Open the email from OmniSocials and click the link in it.
5. On **Set a new password**, enter a **New password** and repeat it in **Confirm new password**.
6. Click **Set new password**, then sign in with your new password.

## Manage your account

Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar, then **Profile**, to open your account settings. Your name, picture, email address and password are the same in every organization.

- **Upload image** changes your profile picture.
- **Full name** changes your name. It saves when you leave the field.
- **Change email address**, under your email address, changes the email you sign in with. For your security this takes two steps: you confirm the change from your current email address, then verify the new one.
- **Preferences** sets your **Time zone**, **Time format**, **First day of the week** and **Notable days**. Changes save automatically.
- **Notifications** chooses which emails you get from OmniSocials.

### Change your password

1. Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar, then **Profile**.
2. Under **Security**, next to **Password**, click **Change password**.
3. Enter your **Current password**.
4. Enter a **New password** and repeat it in **Confirm new password**. It needs at least 8 characters, with an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter and a number.
5. Click **Change password**.

Every other browser signed in to your account is signed out, and you get an email about the change. If you don't know your current password, click **Forgot your password? Email me a reset link** and follow the link in the email.

> **Note:** If you sign in with Google or GitHub, your account has no password and **Change password** doesn't show.

### Delete your account

1. Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar, then **Profile**.
2. Under **Danger zone**, click **Delete account**.
3. Type your email address to confirm.
4. Click **Delete Account**.

> **Warning:** Deleting your account deletes its data and can't be undone. An active subscription and any scheduled posts are canceled.
