### Can you schedule LinkedIn posts?

Yes. LinkedIn’s own scheduler plans a post up to three months ahead. OmniSocials adds document carousels from a PDF, polls, a first comment for your link, one calendar with your company Page and other channels, and your AI agent.

### Can I post to my LinkedIn profile and my company Page?

Yes. They are two channels in one workspace: your own profile and one company Page where you are an admin. Post to either or both at once, each with its own text, poll and first comment.

### What can I post to my LinkedIn profile?

Text posts, one image or several, one video of up to 30 minutes, link posts with an article card, document carousels and polls. Posts take up to 3,000 characters, and images and a video don’t mix in one post.

### How do document carousels work?

Add two or more images and OmniSocials builds one PDF from them, which LinkedIn shows as a swipeable document. The first line of your text becomes its title. You can switch any post to a plain image gallery instead.

Upload a PDF and OmniSocials turns it into up to 20 slides you can check. Keep them as they are and LinkedIn gets your original file, with sharp text and working links, as long as it is under 100 MB and 300 pages.

### Can I create LinkedIn polls?

Yes. A poll has a question of up to 140 characters, 2 to 4 options of up to 30 characters, and runs for 1 day, 3 days, 1 week or 2 weeks. A poll can’t carry media or a link.

Polls work from the composer, the API and the MCP server. The Slack assistant posts text and media only.

### Can I put my link in the first comment?

Yes. Add a first comment of up to 1,250 characters and OmniSocials posts it under your post, as you, right after the post goes live. A link in the text itself gets LinkedIn’s article card instead, when the post has no media or poll.

### Can I answer comments on my profile posts?

Not from OmniSocials. LinkedIn comments and mentions reach the Social Inbox for company Pages only, so the comments on your profile posts stay on LinkedIn.

### Which analytics do I get for my profile?

Per post: impressions, reach, reactions by type, comments, shares, link clicks, saves, sends, follows from the post and profile visits, plus views, viewers and watch time for videos.

For the profile: followers, and impressions, likes, comments and shares by day.

### Can ChatGPT or Claude post to LinkedIn for me?

Yes. Connect the OmniSocials MCP server to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any other MCP client and ask in plain words: it writes, schedules and checks the posts, document carousels and polls on your profile. With an approval workflow, nothing goes out before someone approves it.

Posts, document carousels, polls and first comments are also in the REST API and the official SDKs. Tagging people and companies works in the web composer only.

Webhooks tell your app when a post is scheduled, approved, rejected, published or failed.

### Does OmniSocials publish to LinkedIn automatically?

Yes. Every post goes out on its own at the time you pick, through LinkedIn’s official API. If a post fails on a temporary error, OmniSocials retries it up to 3 times, 15 minutes apart.

LinkedIn sign-ins last 60 days. Where LinkedIn allows it, OmniSocials renews yours on its own in the last two weeks. Otherwise it emails you 7 days before it runs out, so you can sign in again in time.
