This is the machine-readable version of [omnisocials.com/telegram](https://omnisocials.com/telegram), maintained for AI agents. Facts checked against the OmniSocials app on October 17, 2026.

- **With your AI agent:** Your AI agent writes and schedules posts, albums and polls for your Telegram channel or group. You check everything in the composer and on one calendar.
- **With your own code:** One API call posts text, photos, albums, polls and link buttons to your Telegram channel or group. No bot token: the OmniSocials bot does the posting.

## What you can post

Every Telegram format, from one composer. Text, photos, videos, GIFs, albums and polls for your channel or group, with link buttons under them.

- **Text posts with a link preview.** Write up to 4,096 characters. Telegram draws the card of the link in your text, or switch the link preview off. (4,096 characters, Link preview)
- **Photos and videos with your text.** Telegram takes 1,024 characters under a photo or video. A longer text goes out as a reply under the media. (Videos up to 50 MB, Long text as a reply)
- **Albums of up to 10.** Put 2 to 10 photos and videos in one album, mixed in any order. (2 to 10 items, Photos and videos)
- **GIFs with your text.** Post a GIF on its own, with your text under it. (One GIF per post)
- **Native Telegram polls.** The post text is the question. Add 2 to 12 answers, allow several per person and keep it open until it’s closed or for up to 30 days. (2 to 12 answers, Up to 30 days)
- **Up to 3 link buttons.** Add up to 3 buttons under a post, each opening your link. Albums and polls go out without them. (Up to 3 buttons)

## Analytics

See the reactions on every Telegram post, and how your channel grows.

In the app: Reactions per emoji, Poll votes, Subscribers, Published Posts, Best Time to Post.

## From your AI agent

Run your Telegram channel from your AI agent. Claude, ChatGPT or any MCP client reads how many reactions each post got, finds what works and plans the next post.

- Read your reactions
- Compare your posts
- Find your best time
- Write the poll
- Pin and schedule it

MCP tools it calls: `list_accounts`, `get_account_analytics`, `get_posts_analytics`, `get_best_times`, `create_post`.

## FAQ

### Can you schedule Telegram posts?

Yes. OmniSocials schedules posts for your Telegram channel or group on one calendar with your other channels, and publishes them at the time you pick: text, photos, videos, GIFs, albums of up to 10 and polls. The post waits in OmniSocials, not in Telegram, until it goes out.

### Does it work with Telegram groups or only channels?

Both. You can connect a channel, a group or a supergroup. In a channel, posts appear as your channel. In a group, they appear as the OmniSocials bot, which joins the group as a member.

### Do I need to create a bot or a bot token?

No. There is no bot token and no BotFather. In OmniSocials, open Channels, pick Telegram and press Connect. The OmniSocials bot opens in Telegram: press Start, tap Choose a channel or Choose a group, and pick your chat. Telegram adds the bot for you, and OmniSocials checks that you are an admin of that chat.

### Which Telegram options can I set?

Per post: send silently, turn the link preview off, pin it in the chat, protect it from forwarding and saving, blur the media as a spoiler, put the text above the media, add up to 3 link buttons and a first comment, which goes out as a reply under the post. Buttons don’t go under albums or polls.

In a channel, pinning works right away. In a group, it works once you make the bot an admin with the Pin messages right.

### Can I schedule Telegram polls?

Yes. The post text is the question, up to 300 characters, with 2 to 12 answers. Allow one answer or several, and keep the poll open until it’s closed or for a set time of up to 30 days. Polls from OmniSocials are anonymous, and a poll goes out without media or buttons.

### Does Telegram text formatting work?

Posts go out as plain text, without bold, italics or hidden links. Telegram turns links, @mentions and #hashtags into links itself. A post takes up to 4,096 characters. Under a photo or video Telegram allows 1,024, so OmniSocials sends a longer text as a reply under the media.

### Why does Telegram show N/A for views?

Telegram doesn’t give view counts to bots, and OmniSocials posts through its bot, so views show N/A. Open the post in Telegram to see its views.

What you do get: the reactions per emoji, the votes of a poll and your subscriber or member count. In a group, reactions come in once the bot is an admin.

### Can I edit or delete a Telegram post after it goes out?

A sent Telegram post can’t be edited from OmniSocials, so check it in the preview first. Within 48 hours of sending, Delete from Telegram on the post’s page removes every message of the post, including an album, a long text’s reply and the first comment. After 48 hours, delete it in Telegram.

### Can I connect several Telegram channels?

Each workspace connects one Telegram channel or group. A second chat goes in a second workspace.

### Can I repost my Instagram posts to Telegram?

Yes. A repost automation copies new posts from Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Threads, Bluesky, Mastodon, Pinterest or your LinkedIn Page into your Telegram channel or group, at the time you set.

### Can ChatGPT or Claude post to my Telegram channel?

Yes. Connect the OmniSocials MCP server to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any other MCP client and ask in plain words. It schedules posts, albums and polls with the Telegram options, reads how many reactions each post got, and gets the link of each post once it’s out. With an approval workflow, nothing goes out before someone approves it.

The REST API takes the same options in its telegram object, and gives the reactions per emoji and a poll’s votes, like the post’s page in OmniSocials. Webhooks tell your app when a post is scheduled, approved, rejected, published or failed.

### Is Telegram included in my plan?

Yes. Telegram comes with the one plan, like every other channel, with no credits per post. The plan is $10 per seat per month billed annually, or $12 billed monthly, and every account starts with a 14-day free trial.
