# OmniSocials Workflows

> Repost from one platform to another on autopilot. Pick a source and a destination, and OmniSocials imports the posts you already published, watches for new ones, and reposts them on your schedule.

## How it works

1. **Pick a source and a destination.** For example Instagram to TikTok, or Facebook to Bluesky. The two must be different platforms.
2. **Pick the content scope.** Existing posts (with an optional date range), future posts, or both.
3. **Pick the media types.** Only the types you select are reposted.
4. **Pick the schedule.** Days of the week, a time, and a time zone, with oldest-first or newest-first order. For future posts there is also a "right after posting" mode that reposts each new post as soon as it is detected.
5. **OmniSocials runs it in the background.** Media is downloaded from the source and queued. Each workflow shows how many items are imported and how many are posted.

New posts on the source are detected about every 15 minutes. Posts you publish through OmniSocials are skipped, so nothing is posted twice. Only posts published directly on the source platform are picked up.

## Supported platforms

**Sources (8):** Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Threads, Bluesky, Mastodon, Pinterest, and LinkedIn Page.

**Destinations (10):** Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, Threads, Bluesky, Mastodon, Pinterest, LinkedIn Profile, and LinkedIn Page. A Pinterest destination needs a board.

YouTube and Google Business are not workflow destinations.

## Media types per source

| Facebook | Videos (including reels), photos, albums, text posts, link shares |
| TikTok | Cover images of your videos. Video import is coming soon. |
| Threads | Images, videos, carousels, text posts |
| Bluesky | Images, text posts, link posts |
| Mastodon | Images, videos, multi-image posts, text posts |
| Pinterest | Image pins (video pins are not supported) |
| LinkedIn Page | Images, videos, multi-image posts, text posts, link shares |

Videos and Reels are not reposted to X.

## Managing workflows

- **Pause and resume**: a paused workflow keeps its queue.
- **Re-import**: pull the latest content from the source on demand.
- **Many workflows side by side**: one workflow per source and destination pair in a workspace, and as many pairs as you need.
- **Across workspaces**: the source account can sit in one workspace and the destination in another, for example to repost from one client brand to another.

## Limits to know

- Workflows are set up in the dashboard. There is no API endpoint, MCP tool, or CLI command for workflows yet.
- For an agent that wants to publish the same content to several platforms, the direct route is one `create_post` call with several accounts and per-platform content.
