This is the machine-readable version of [omnisocials.com/x](https://omnisocials.com/x), maintained for AI agents. Facts checked against the OmniSocials app on October 16, 2026.

- **With your AI agent:** Your AI agent writes and schedules your posts and threads on X. You check everything in the composer and on one calendar.
- **With your own code:** One API call publishes posts, threads and polls to X, with no X developer account or API plan needed. OmniSocials handles the sign-in, the uploads and the retries.

## What you can post

Every X format, from one composer. Posts, threads, polls and link posts, with the reply settings and labels X gives you.

- **Posts with up to 4 images.** Text with up to 4 images, or one video, with alt text on each image. 280 characters, or 25,000 on any paid tier. (Up to 4 images, One video, Alt text)
- **Threads that split themselves.** Write past the limit and split the text into a thread at your paragraphs and sentences. Up to 25 parts, with media on any part. (Up to 25 parts, Split at sentences, Media on any part)
- **Polls, with your post as the question.** 2 to 4 options of up to 25 characters, open for 1 hour to 7 days. On a thread, the poll goes on the first post. (2 to 4 options, 25 characters each, 1 hour to 7 days)
- **Choose who can reply.** Everyone, people you follow, or only people you mention. Label a post as a paid partnership or as made with AI. (Who can reply, Paid partnership, Made with AI)
- **Link posts at X’s own price.** No X developer account or API plan of your own. A post with a link uses 20 credits, X’s fee passed through. Posts without one cost nothing extra. (No X API plan, 20 credits a link post, Link card)

## Social Inbox

Your X DMs, in one inbox. Switch X DMs on and answer them next to every other channel’s messages.

- **X DMs, when you switch them on.** Each DM you receive uses 1 credit. Mentions and replies stay on X.
- **Answer in a line.** Replies are text and use 2 credits each.
- **The whole conversation in one thread.** Every DM from the day you switched them on, with your earlier answers.

## Analytics

See how every X post did, and when to post the next one.

In the app: Impressions, Bookmarks, Link clicks, Profile visits, Best Time to Post.

## Ads

Not available yet: X ads are coming to OmniSocials.

## From your AI agent

Run your X account from your AI agent. Claude, ChatGPT or any MCP client reads your posts, finds what works and plans the next thread.

- Read your latest posts
- Compare replies and bookmarks
- Find your best time
- Draft the thread
- Choose who can reply

MCP tools it calls: `list_accounts`, `get_account_analytics`, `get_recent_platform_posts`, `get_best_times`, `create_post`.

## API and CLI

**One request. Posts, threads and polls.** Publish to X and read how every post did, without an X developer account or a paid X API plan of your own.

- **Real-time webhooks.** Get an event the moment an X post or thread is scheduled, published or fails. Signed payloads, sent straight to your endpoint.
- **Every format in one call.** Posts, threads of up to 25 parts and polls through one request, with who can reply and the labels as fields.
- **From your terminal.** Claude Code, Codex or Gemini CLI writes and schedules your X threads through the OmniSocials MCP server and agent skill.

The SDK call the page shows:

```js
## FAQ
### Can you schedule X (Twitter) posts?
Yes. X’s own scheduler on its website covers simple posts. OmniSocials schedules posts, threads and polls on one calendar with your other channels, publishes them on its own at the time you pick, and needs no X API plan of your own.
### What can I post to X?
Posts with up to 4 images, or one video, threads of 2 to 25 parts, and polls. Free accounts get 280 characters, Basic, Premium and Premium+ up to 25,000. OmniSocials reads your tier when you connect, so reconnect X after you upgrade. Links count as 23 characters and emoji as 2, the way X counts them.
Videos run up to 140 seconds and 512 MB, or 125 minutes and 16 GB on Premium. Quote posts and Communities aren’t supported.
### Do I need an X developer account or API plan?
No. You connect X with X’s own sign-in, on any account tier, and OmniSocials publishes for you. There is no developer account to set up and no X API plan to pay for.
Posts without a link cost nothing extra. A post with a link uses credits, because X charges for those.
### Why do X posts with a link use credits?
X charges for posts that contain a link, and OmniSocials passes that fee through at cost: 20 credits, about €0.20, for each post or thread part with an http(s) link. 100 credits cost €1, and every company gets 200 starter credits once.
The composer shows the cost before you schedule. Credits are set aside when you schedule and only charged when the post goes out. Scheduling past your balance is refused, so a link post never fails at publish for lack of credits.
### How do X threads work?
Write past the limit and a Split into thread button appears. It cuts the text at blank lines and sentences, then line breaks and words, into parts of up to 280 characters. Edit each part, add one below, and put images or a video on any part.
A thread holds 2 to 25 parts. Who can reply and a poll go on the first post. In the composer, thread parts stay at 280 characters, also on Premium.
### Can I limit who replies, or add a poll?
Yes. Let everyone reply, only people you follow, or only people you mention. You can also label a post as a paid partnership or as made with AI.
Polls work too: the post is the question, with 2 to 4 options of up to 25 characters. In the composer a poll runs 1 hour, 6 hours, 1 day, 3 days or 7 days; through the API you set any length from 5 minutes to 7 days. A poll takes the place of images or a video.
### Can I answer X DMs?
Yes, once you switch X DMs on for the workspace. That needs 25 credits and someone with billing access. Each DM you receive uses 1 credit and each reply 2 credits, and DMs pause when the balance runs out.
Messages from before you switched DMs on don’t come in. Mentions and replies to your posts don’t land in the inbox.
### Which X analytics do I get?
Per post: views, likes, replies, reposts, quotes and bookmarks, plus video views, completion rate and poll results. Posts younger than 30 days also show link clicks, profile visits and engagements. For the account: followers, following, posts and the number of lists you’re on.
OmniSocials reads each post five times, from about 5 hours after it goes out to day 30. X doesn’t report reach.
### Can ChatGPT or Claude post to X for me?
Yes. Connect the OmniSocials MCP server to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any other MCP client and ask in plain words: it writes, schedules and checks your X posts and threads, with who can reply and the labels. With an approval workflow, nothing goes out before someone approves it.
Posts, threads, polls, who can reply and the labels are also in the REST API and the official SDKs, and the CLI posts threads with reply settings. Polls are made in the composer or through the API, not through the MCP server.
Webhooks tell your app when a post is scheduled, approved, rejected, published or failed. An automation can also repost what you publish on another channel to X. When a caption is too long for your account, you pick once: post it as a thread, cut it at the limit, or skip the post.
### How much does OmniSocials cost?
One plan with every feature included: $10 per seat per month billed annually, or $12 billed monthly. Team members and client seats cost the same. Every account starts with a 14-day free trial.
