Connect your Threads account to schedule and publish posts.
Before You Start
You'll need:
- A Threads account (linked to your Instagram)
- An Instagram Business or Creator account
Connecting Threads
- Go to Settings > Workspace (or use onboarding)
- Click Connect Threads
- Authenticate through Instagram/Meta
- Grant the permissions
- Done!
What You Can Do
Posting
- Text posts
- Image posts (up to 10 images)
- Video posts
- Posts with links
- Schedule everything in advance
Post Specs
Text
- Up to 500 characters
Images
- Up to 10 per post
- JPG or PNG
Videos
- Up to 5 minutes long
- MP4 or MOV
Best Practices
- Be conversational and authentic
- Cross-post relevant content from Instagram
- Engage with replies
- Don't overdo hashtags
- Post when people are active
Troubleshooting
Can't connect?
- Make sure your Instagram is a Business or Creator account
- Verify your Threads account is active
- Check Meta permissions
- Try connecting Instagram first
Posts failing?
- Check you're under 500 characters
- Verify your media meets the specs
- Make sure the account connection is active
