Yes, once you connect OmniSocials. On its own, ChatGPT can't log in to Instagram or LinkedIn. With OmniSocials added as a plugin, it creates, schedules and publishes posts on 12 platforms through each platform's official API, and every post shows up in your OmniSocials calendar.

How do I connect ChatGPT to OmniSocials?

In ChatGPT, open Plugins, click + and choose Add custom MCP server. Name it OmniSocials, paste https://mcp.omnisocials.com under Connection, pick OAuth, tick I understand and want to continue and click Create as a plugin. Sign in to OmniSocials, choose your workspaces and click Allow access. Then type @ in a chat and pick OmniSocials.

Which ChatGPT plans can use it?

ChatGPT Plus and Pro: add it yourself. Business, Enterprise and Edu: an admin or owner adds it for the workspace. On the OmniSocials side, it works on every plan and during the 14-day trial.

Do I need Developer mode?

No. Since ChatGPT moved apps to plugins, you add a custom MCP server straight from Plugins. Developer mode is not needed first.

Is OmniSocials in the ChatGPT plugin directory?

Not yet. A one-click install from the directory is coming soon. Until then, add OmniSocials by its URL, which takes about two minutes.

How do I connect ChatGPT to Instagram or LinkedIn?

Connect the account in OmniSocials first, then add OmniSocials to ChatGPT. ChatGPT can then post Reels, carousels and Stories to Instagram, answer its comments and DMs, and read its analytics. LinkedIn works the same for profiles and company pages.

What can ChatGPT see in my account?

When you sign in, you choose all workspaces or only the ones you pick. Posting and the inbox follow your role in each workspace. You can disconnect at any time in Settings, then Organisation, then Integrations.

Will ChatGPT publish without my OK?

It publishes only when you ask it to post now. Ask for drafts instead, or have it send posts through your approval workflow, and a person signs off before anything goes out.

Can I attach images or videos in ChatGPT?

Yes, on ChatGPT web and desktop. Attach the file and ask ChatGPT to post it: it goes to your OmniSocials library first. You can also paste a link to an image or video, up to 1 GB. The ChatGPT mobile app doesn't send attachments yet, so paste a link there.

Can ChatGPT answer DMs and comments?

Yes, on the 7 platforms in the OmniSocials inbox: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn pages, TikTok, YouTube, X and Threads. It replies to existing conversations; Instagram and Facebook DMs within Meta's 24-hour window. A workspace can send up to 1,000 replies a day.

Can ChatGPT connect a new social account?

No. You connect accounts in OmniSocials, under Settings, Organisation, Workspaces. Once an account is connected, ChatGPT can post to it, answer its inbox and read its numbers.

Does deleting a post in ChatGPT remove it from the platform?

No. It removes the post from OmniSocials. A post that is already live stays on the platform, so delete it there.

How much does it cost?

OmniSocials costs $10 per month per seat, billed yearly, with a 14-day free trial. The MCP server and all 56 tools come with every plan. Your ChatGPT plan is separate.
