What are Muse connectors?

Connectors let Muse use other apps, like Gmail, Instagram or OmniSocials. Some are built in under Settings, Connectors. For any other service you ask Muse to create a custom connector, and it guides you through it.

Can Muse post on Instagram?

Muse connects your Instagram Business account, Facebook Pages and Meta ad accounts itself. Add OmniSocials for the rest: scheduling at your best times, approvals, the inbox and 10 more platforms in one place.

Can Muse post to LinkedIn, TikTok or X?

Not on its own. With OmniSocials as a connector it posts to LinkedIn profiles and pages, TikTok, X, YouTube, Threads, Pinterest, Bluesky, Mastodon, Google Business and Telegram, through each platform's official API.

How do I add a custom connector to Muse?

Ask Muse in a chat: “Create a custom connector for OmniSocials. Its MCP server is at https://mcp.omnisocials.com. Send me the sign-in link.”. Allow the card it shows, open the sign-in link and click Allow access in OmniSocials. Meta does not review custom connectors, so you approve the access yourself.

Does Muse support MCP?

Meta doesn't say. Muse builds custom connectors from what you give it, and OmniSocials gives it an MCP server URL with 56 tools. If Muse struggles with the sign-in, give it an API key through its credentials prompt instead.

Meta says Muse is free for most of what people need, with paid subscription plans for more. OmniSocials costs $10 per month per seat, billed yearly, with a 14-day free trial.

Will Muse post without my approval?

By default Muse asks before actions like posting, and you can change when it asks. OmniSocials adds drafts and approval workflows, so a person signs off before anything goes live.

How do I disconnect Muse from my social accounts?

Remove the connector in Muse under Settings, Connectors, and disconnect it in OmniSocials under Settings, Organisation, Integrations.

What can Muse see in my account?

When you sign in, you choose all workspaces or only the ones you pick, and an API key reaches one workspace. Posting and the inbox follow your role in each workspace. You can disconnect at any time in Settings, then Organisation, then Integrations.

Can Muse answer DMs and comments?

Yes, on the 7 platforms in the OmniSocials inbox: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn pages, TikTok, YouTube, X and Threads. It replies to existing conversations; Instagram and Facebook DMs within Meta's 24-hour window. A workspace can send up to 1,000 replies a day.

Can I post images and videos from Muse?

Yes. Give Muse a link to the image or video, up to 1 GB, and it uploads it to your OmniSocials library before it posts. Files already in your library work too: ask Muse to use them by name.

Does deleting a post in Muse remove it from the platform?

No. It removes the post from OmniSocials. A post that is already live stays on the platform, so delete it there.
