Can a ChatGPT dot post on social media?

Yes, through OmniSocials. A dot uses the supported plugins you install and enable in ChatGPT. Add OmniSocials as a plugin, allow your dot to use it, and it can draft, schedule and publish on 12 platforms.

Does a dot use custom plugins like OmniSocials?

OpenAI says a dot uses supported plugins on your account and has not said whether custom MCP plugins count. If your dot does not list OmniSocials, ask in a regular ChatGPT chat, where the plugin works.

Which ChatGPT plans include dots?

Pro 100, Pro 200 and Pro 500 for adults outside the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, and Business Premium and Enterprise, where an admin turns dots on. You can create a dot in the ChatGPT mobile app, the desktop app or a desktop browser.

Can my dot post on a schedule every week?

Yes. Give it a recurring job, like planning the week every Monday. Each post also has its own date and time, and OmniSocials publishes it then, even if your dot is paused.

Will my dot publish without asking?

Yes. You can reach your dot in Slack and Teams, and it uses the same plugins there.

What can your dot see in my account?

When you sign in, you choose all workspaces or only the ones you pick, and an API key reaches one workspace. Posting and the inbox follow your role in each workspace. You can disconnect at any time in Settings, then Organisation, then Integrations.

Can your dot answer DMs and comments?

Yes, on the 7 platforms in the OmniSocials inbox: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn pages, TikTok, YouTube, X and Threads. It replies to existing conversations; Instagram and Facebook DMs within Meta's 24-hour window. A workspace can send up to 1,000 replies a day.

Can I post images and videos from your dot?

Yes. Give your dot a link to the image or video, up to 1 GB, and it uploads it to your OmniSocials library before it posts. Files already in your library work too: ask your dot to use them by name.

How much does it cost?

OmniSocials costs $10 per month per seat, billed yearly, with a 14-day free trial. The MCP server and all 56 tools come with every plan. Your your dot plan is separate.
