Can Grok post on X for me?

Yes, once you connect OmniSocials. Grok on its own only answers in chat and in public @grok replies. With OmniSocials as a connector, it posts and schedules on your X account, threads included, and on 11 more platforms.

Can Grok post to Instagram, LinkedIn or TikTok?

Yes. Connect the accounts in OmniSocials and Grok can post Reels and carousels to Instagram, posts and PDF carousels to LinkedIn, and videos to TikTok, through each platform's official API.

What are connectors on Grok?

Connectors let Grok use other apps. Grok has ready-made ones and custom connectors for any remote MCP server, such as OmniSocials. Once connected, Grok uses its tools whenever your question needs them.

How do I add a connector to Grok?

Go to grok.com/connectors, click New Connector, choose Custom and paste https://mcp.omnisocials.com. Sign in to OmniSocials and click Allow access. On a phone, open Settings, then Connectors.

Does Grok support MCP?

Yes. Grok's custom connectors connect to remote MCP servers over the internet. OmniSocials' server is at mcp.omnisocials.com and has 56 tools.

Why is New Connector greyed out on my work account?

On Grok Business and Enterprise, a team admin has to add the connector in console.x.ai first (Grok Business, Connectors, Add Connector, Other). Then everyone on the team can connect their own OmniSocials account.

Grok answers but never schedules anything. Is it broken?

Name the action and a time, for example “Schedule this for Tuesday 9 AM on X”. If Grok still only writes text, switch OmniSocials on for the chat under + and Connectors.

Does this work with Grok Bot?

Grok Bot runs on your Cursor account and adds MCP servers as plugins. See the Grok Bot page for its setup.

Does Grok see my X password?

No. You connect X in OmniSocials through X's official sign-in, and Grok only gets OmniSocials' tools, limited to the workspaces you allow.

What can Grok see in my account?

When you sign in, you choose all workspaces or only the ones you pick, and an API key reaches one workspace. Posting and the inbox follow your role in each workspace. You can disconnect at any time in Settings, then Organisation, then Integrations.

Will Grok publish without my OK?

It publishes only when you ask it to post now. Ask for drafts instead, or have it send posts through your approval workflow, and a person signs off before anything goes out.

Can Grok answer DMs and comments?

Yes, on the 7 platforms in the OmniSocials inbox: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn pages, TikTok, YouTube, X and Threads. It replies to existing conversations; Instagram and Facebook DMs within Meta's 24-hour window. A workspace can send up to 1,000 replies a day.

Can I post images and videos from Grok?

Yes. Give Grok a link to the image or video, up to 1 GB, and it uploads it to your OmniSocials library before it posts. Files already in your library work too: ask Grok to use them by name.

How much does it cost?

OmniSocials costs $10 per month per seat, billed yearly, with a 14-day free trial. The MCP server and all 56 tools come with every plan. Your Grok plan is separate.
