Large video uploads are stable

  • 2 fixed

Big videos to LinkedIn, X, Facebook and YouTube no longer strain the publisher.

Fixed

  • Large videos publish reliably - posting one big video (hundreds of megabytes) to several platforms at once could interrupt publishing for everyone for a few minutes. OmniSocials now streams videos to LinkedIn, X, Facebook Reels and Stories, and YouTube instead of holding the whole file in memory, so very large files publish without affecting other posts.
  • Clear error when a post cannot publish - a post whose publish keeps getting interrupted now stops after a few attempts and shows a clear error (usually a media file that is too large to process) instead of retrying silently every few minutes.
