Crowdfire alternatives in 2026: OmniSocials, plus 5 others after the shutdown

Crowdfire shut down in May 2025, and crowdfireapp.com is now a media site, so there is nothing left to log in to. OmniSocials is a Crowdfire alternative that schedules to 12 platforms, including TikTok, YouTube, Threads and Bluesky, which Crowdfire never supported, for $10 per seat a month billed yearly. Below: what Crowdfire did, a comparison, prices checked October 18, 2026, and five other tools.

The short answer

Pick OmniSocials if you used Crowdfire to schedule posts and want more platforms, an inbox for 7 platforms, approvals, and an AI agent or your own code that can fill the calendar.

Look elsewhere if Crowdfire's article suggestions, RSS feeds or free plan were what you used: OmniSocials has none of those. Before it closed, Crowdfire Plus cost $7.48 a month billed yearly ($9.99 monthly); OmniSocials costs $10 per seat billed yearly ($12 monthly).

Crowdfire facts and prices checked on October 18, 2026 on Crowdfire's pricing page (archived May 14, 2025) and Crowdfire's shutdown note (archived May 19, 2025). Prices in USD. Something out of date? Tell us.

Why Crowdfire users need a new tool

Crowdfire shut down. In May 2025 Crowdfire replaced its website with a goodbye note: after 15 years it had made "the difficult decision to shut down Crowdfire. Our platform is now offline." Customers were pointed to an email address for cancellations and refunds.

The site is now a media brand. By April 2026, crowdfireapp.com said Crowdfire is "becoming something new, a media platform" covering social media, Web3 and AI. It sells no scheduling plan, and its pricing page shows the same note (checked October 18, 2026).

It covered five networks. Crowdfire's last plans published to X, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram, plus Pinterest on paid plans. It never scheduled to TikTok, YouTube, Threads, Bluesky, Mastodon or Google Business.

Its plans were capped by accounts and queue size. Plus linked 5 accounts with up to 100 scheduled posts each, and the free plan 3 accounts with 10. The mentions inbox, the calendar view, bulk scheduling and a team member needed Premium at $37.48 a month billed yearly (prices from May 2025).

What Crowdfire did well

  • Article and image suggestions for your topics, to fill a queue without writing every post. OmniSocials has no content curation.
  • RSS feeds and posts from your blog, YouTube channel or Shopify and Etsy shop, with 5 to 25 feeds on paid plans.
  • A Chrome extension to share articles while you read.
  • Competitor analysis on Premium and VIP, for 2 to 20 competitors per account.
  • A free plan and a lower entry price: Plus was $7.48 a month billed yearly.

All of that went offline with Crowdfire in May 2025. If curation and RSS were your workflow, pick a tool that has them, such as Zoho Social (RSS on Professional). OmniSocials has neither.

Crowdfire's last prices vs OmniSocials

The Crowdfire prices below are its last published ones, billed yearly; OmniSocials' prices were checked on October 18, 2026. OmniSocials charges per seat: each brand (one workspace) and each teammate is a seat. Crowdfire charged per plan by the number of social accounts. Crowdfire's last prices were lower for one brand: Plus cost $7.48 a month billed yearly. A teammate or a second brand needed Premium at $37.48. None of these plans can be bought today.

We count 4 social accounts per brand; Plus had no team members, Premium one and VIP two.

What you get with OmniSocials

One calendar, filled by you or your AI agent

Plan in a week or month view, keep drafts in the tray and preview each post the way each platform shows it. Connect Claude, ChatGPT or another agent through the MCP server, and the posts it schedules land on the same calendar for you to check. How the MCP server works

One inbox for 7 platforms

DMs, comments and mentions from Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, X and Threads in one list, on every seat. Crowdfire's inbox tracked mentions on Facebook and Instagram, on Premium and VIP, until it went offline. See the inbox

Repost automations

Post on one platform and let an automation repost it to the others on your schedule, for example your Instagram Reels to TikTok, one a day at 9:00 AM. Automations can also bring in your older posts from 8 platforms. See automations

Approvals for teams and clients

Add approval steps per workspace, so a teammate or client signs off before a post goes live. Reviewers comment, request changes or approve, and roles decide who can post, reply or see analytics. See collaboration

For developers

Crowdfire is offline. OmniSocials is built on an API.

Crowdfire's plans listed no public API, and the platform went offline in May 2025. OmniSocials lets you post, reply and read analytics on 12 platforms from your own code or your AI agent. Every seat includes the REST API, the MCP server, the SDKs and webhooks, also during the trial.

Other Crowdfire alternatives

OmniSocials is not the only replacement. These five come up most when people look for a Crowdfire alternative. Each price is the vendor's cheapest paid plan, checked on its own pricing page.

  • Buffer

Best for simple queues on a budget

Free for 3 channels. Essentials from $6 per channel a month ($5 billed yearly). (checked Oct 18, 2026)

The catch: You pay per channel and Essentials has one user, so 10 channels cost $60 a month billed monthly.

    OmniSocials vs Buffer
  • SocialBee

    Best for recycling evergreen content

Bootstrap $29 a month ($24.20 billed yearly) for up to 5 profiles. (checked Oct 18, 2026)

The catch: Bootstrap has one user; approvals and CSV uploads start at $49 a month.

    OmniSocials vs SocialBee
  • Later

Best for Instagram planning and influencer marketing

Starter $25 a month ($18.75 billed yearly) for one social set. (checked Oct 18, 2026)

The catch: Starter allows 30 posts per profile a month, and Later has no X.

    OmniSocials vs Later
  • Publer

Best for low-cost scheduling priced per account

Free for 3 accounts. Professional from $5 a month for one account ($4 billed yearly). (checked Oct 18, 2026)

The catch: Analytics, the API and MCP need Business ($8 a month for one account billed yearly), and there is no DM inbox.

    OmniSocials vs Publer
  • Zoho Social

Best for teams that already use Zoho CRM or Zoho Desk

Free for 1 brand without scheduling. Standard $15 a month ($10 billed yearly) for 1 brand. (checked Oct 18, 2026)

The catch: Standard takes no extra brands or users, and the inbox and approvals need Premium at $40 a month billed yearly.

How to switch from Crowdfire

  1. Connect your accounts

Make a workspace for each brand and connect each account through the platform's own sign-in. Every feature is open for 14 days.

  2. Rebuild your queue

Crowdfire is offline, so there is nothing to import. Paste your posts into the composer, or give the list to your AI agent and let it schedule the week through the MCP server.

  3. Replace the curation step

OmniSocials suggests no articles. Pick the links you want to share, ask your AI agent (Claude, ChatGPT or another MCP client) to draft the posts, and check them on the calendar before they go out.

Frequently asked questions

Is Crowdfire shut down?

Yes. In May 2025 Crowdfire replaced its website with a note saying it had shut down after 15 years and that "our platform is now offline". Since then crowdfireapp.com has become a media site about social media, Web3 and AI, with no scheduling product or pricing (checked October 18, 2026).

What was Crowdfire used for?

Scheduling posts to X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and Pinterest, finding articles and images to share on your topics, pulling posts from RSS feeds, blogs, YouTube and Shopify or Etsy shops, tracking Facebook and Instagram mentions, and basic analytics with competitor comparisons on the higher plans.

Is OmniSocials a good alternative to Crowdfire?

Yes, if you used Crowdfire mainly to schedule posts. OmniSocials schedules to 12 platforms, including TikTok, YouTube, Threads, Bluesky and Google Business, which Crowdfire never had, and includes an inbox for 7 platforms, approvals, an MCP server and a REST API in every seat.

It is not a match for Crowdfire's article suggestions, RSS feeds or Chrome extension: OmniSocials has none of them.

What are the best alternatives to Crowdfire?

It depends on what you used it for. OmniSocials for scheduling on many platforms with an inbox and an AI agent. Buffer for a free plan and simple queues. SocialBee for recycling evergreen content. Later for visual Instagram planning. Publer for budget scheduling. Zoho Social for RSS feeds and social listening.

Is there a free Crowdfire alternative?

Yes. Buffer has a free plan for 3 channels, and Zoho Social has a free plan for one brand on six channels that publishes right away but cannot schedule. OmniSocials has no free plan: it starts with a 14-day trial, then costs $10 per seat a month billed yearly.

How much did Crowdfire cost?

Its last pricing page, archived on May 14, 2025, listed a free plan and three paid plans. Billed yearly: Plus $7.48, Premium $37.48 and VIP $74.98 a month. Billed monthly: $9.99, $49.99 and $99.99. Plus linked 5 social accounts, Premium 10 and VIP 25. None of them can be bought today.

Do any Crowdfire alternatives track followers and unfollowers?

OmniSocials does not, and Crowdfire's own plans in 2025 did not list follower tracking either. OmniSocials reports on the posts you send through it, with PDF reports.

Which Crowdfire alternative supports the most platforms?

Of the tools on this page, Zoho Social lists the most channels: up to 16 per brand on Premium, including Snapchat and WhatsApp. OmniSocials covers 12: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn (Profile and Page), X, Threads, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Bluesky, Mastodon, Google Business and Telegram.

Did Crowdfire have an API?

Its plans listed none, and the platform is offline. OmniSocials has a REST API at api.omnisocials.com, an MCP server with 56 tools for Claude, ChatGPT and other agents, SDKs in 8 languages, a CLI and 5 webhook events, in every seat and during the trial.

Can I move my scheduled posts from Crowdfire to OmniSocials?

No. Crowdfire is offline, so there is nothing to export or import. Connect your accounts to OmniSocials, then paste your posts into the composer or give the list to your AI agent, which schedules them through the MCP server.

How much does OmniSocials cost?

One plan with every feature: $10 per seat a month billed yearly, or $12 billed monthly. Each workspace (one brand) and each teammate or client is a seat. Every account starts with a 14-day free trial; a credit card is required and the first charge comes when the trial ends.

Try OmniSocials for 14 days

Connect your accounts, schedule your first week and bring your AI agent. The first charge comes when the trial ends.
