Why people are leaving Hypefury

X support ended. Hypefury's pricing page answers "Does Hypefury still support X/Twitter?" with "Nope! Hypefury no longer supports X". The change came in mid-2026, when Hypefury also replaced its Starter, Creator and Business plans with Flexible and Full.

It covers five networks. Hypefury's Full plan connects Bluesky, Threads, LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok. Its pricing page does not list Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, Mastodon or Google Business (checked October 18, 2026).

There is no inbox or approval flow. Hypefury's plans include an engagement builder for replying to accounts and keywords you watch, but no inbox for the comments and DMs on your own posts and no approval workflow. A ghostwriter or VA can join your account.

The free plan is gone. Hypefury says it no longer offers a free plan. New accounts get a 7-day trial, then pay from $5 per channel a month billed yearly ($6 monthly), or $199 a year for every channel.

What Hypefury still does better

  • Tweetshots, which turn a text post into an image for Instagram, and LinkedIn carousels made from your posts.
  • Autoplugs, an automatic first comment that promotes your offer, and AutoDMs on Instagram.
  • An engagement builder with unlimited watched accounts and keywords, plus Bluesky list import.
  • AI trained on your own posts, and one history of everything you published, including posts made outside Hypefury.
  • A low entry price: $5 a month for one channel billed yearly, and a 7-day trial without a credit card.

If you are a solo writer on LinkedIn, Threads or Bluesky and those growth tools are your workflow, Hypefury is the better fit. OmniSocials has no Tweetshots, engagement builder or in-app AI writer.

Hypefury vs OmniSocials pricing

Both prices below are billed yearly and were checked on October 18, 2026. OmniSocials charges per seat: each brand (one workspace) and each teammate is a seat. Hypefury charges per channel, or one flat plan. OmniSocials costs less for a solo creator on four networks. Hypefury costs less if you post to a single network (Flexible, $5 a month billed yearly), or once a ghostwriter or VA joins you, because it lists no charge per person.

What you get with OmniSocials

One calendar, filled by you or your AI agent

Plan in a week or month view, keep drafts in the tray and preview each post the way each platform shows it. Connect Claude, ChatGPT or another agent through the MCP server, and the posts it schedules land on the same calendar for you to check. How the MCP server works

One inbox for 7 platforms

DMs, comments and mentions from Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, X and Threads in one list, on every seat. Hypefury's plans list no inbox for comments or DMs. See the inbox

Repost automations

Post on one platform and let an automation repost it to the others on your schedule, for example your Instagram Reels to TikTok, one a day at 9:00 AM. Automations can also bring in your older posts from 8 platforms. See automations

Approvals for teams and clients

Add approval steps per workspace, so a teammate or client signs off before a post goes live. Reviewers comment, request changes or approve, and roles decide who can post, reply or see analytics. Hypefury lists no approval workflow. See collaboration

For developers

Hypefury has no public API. OmniSocials is built on one.

Hypefury's site mentions an MCP server, but we found no public docs for it, and there is no REST API, SDK or webhook to build on. OmniSocials gives you all of them for 12 platforms, in every seat and during the trial.
