LinkedIn takes photos from 3:1 wide to 4:5 tall, at least 552 × 276 pixels and up to 5 MB, and recommends 1,080 pixels wide. Taller photos are centered and cropped to 4:5, so 1080 × 1350 is the tallest shape that shows whole. Square 1080 × 1080 and landscape 1200 × 627 work too.
Your profile's cover image, the banner, is 1584 × 396. A company Page's cover is now 1512 × 256 in LinkedIn's Help Center, though many guides still list 1128 × 191. Schedulers, OmniSocials included, post through LinkedIn's API, which takes JPG, PNG and GIF images and up to 20 in one post.
It is the tallest shape LinkedIn shows whole, at the 1,080 px width LinkedIn recommends. Anything taller is cropped to 4:5.
LinkedIn's photo limit is 5 MB, and photos under 552 × 276 pixels are not accepted. A 1080 px JPEG fits easily.
LinkedIn's Help Center now lists 1512 × 256 as both the minimum and the recommended size. Many guides still give 1128 × 191.
How a cover image shows changes with the window and screen. Keep key details away from the edges, and on a Page away from the lower right.
LinkedIn asks that a PDF with mixed page sizes be fit to one size. Design every slide at the same 4:5 or square size.
LinkedIn shows Page logos on light and dark backgrounds, and a transparent logo sits on white. Check that it reads on both.
Every size on this page comes from LinkedIn's Help Center or Microsoft's LinkedIn API reference, read on October 17, 2026. Where LinkedIn publishes no number (document pages, article covers), the page says so and labels the size we suggest. Video sizes are LinkedIn's allowed range; 1080 × 1920 and 1920 × 1080 are common choices inside it.
